My daughter was seen by Christina Scelfo, M.D. She was very kind and patient with my 5 year old child that was being silly and who at one point panicked over the dilating eye drops 👁 . I would recommend her to other parents I know. All the staff was friendly. Barely any wait time. The waiting room is huge so you'll be comfortable waiting for a minute or 2. The eye exam machines are all in a separate section and the staff in that section were so nice. A lot of patient rooms so if there were any other patients after entering the sliding doors I didn't see or hear them once on that side. The rooms themselves are spacious. She had so many Lil things to ease my Lil one and made the exam run smooth.

I came to this office based on recommendations from other locations because I needed someone with experience with children who have autism. My son saw Dr. Khandji and we had a very pleasant experience. He was upset when it came to putting in eye drops but Dr. Khandji handled it wonderfully and had a smile the entire time, making him feel comfortable during the rest of the visit. Dr. Escuder is uniquely skilled at always making a child’s day better! A knowledgeable and thorough ophthalmologist, she is also an expert communicator. Children walk away happy, their anxiety alleviated, they are looking forward to coming back to the office. The whole place is neat and organized, punctual. Every person I encountered working here over the years is a showcase of professionalism. My daughters are now teenagers, and I wonder what I will do when they eventually ‘graduate’ this office, knowing all too well Dr. Escuder will be impossible to replace!

If you're looking for a Doctor that will take care of your child as if, they were theirs you would be coming to the right place. Our newborn was born with an eye issue and after giving birth we were highly recommended to seek medical assistance to diagnose the condition. We sought additional opinions on the baby's condition. During the additional consultations, we were informed that Dr. Nam was one of the best in this field. She is knowledgeable, patient, caring, and informative. She has about 20 Years of experience. My toddler took a running fall and hit his eye on a drum. I brought him to his pediatrician who recommended he be seen by an ophthalmologist. I quickly called Pediatric Ophthalmic Consultants- Borough Park and immediately got a same-day appointment. The experience was excellent. The office is large and inviting and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Ranka was amazing with my son and understanding of my concerns as a parent.
